In Case Of An Emergency

Updated: Dec 12, 2020

If you or a person you are concerned about is feeling overwhelmed or at risk I encourage you to call the AAC (Access and Assessment Centre) at VGH. They provide pathways for people and families to access to VCH mental health and/or substance use services in Vancouver and offer an alternative to the Emergency department for people having a non-life threatening mental health and/or substance use issue. Their number is 604-675-3700. The link provides more detailed information.
